Recently, BCI announced the introduction of a 1 fiber DVI module (4801 Series) for applications in the video presentation and medical markets. This product was designed for the utmost in ease of use by utilizing a single fiber for R,G,B and Clock signals with easy-to-handle SC or LC connection, which eliminates both time and complexity for the System Integrator's installation and troubleshooting efforts.

• Transport DVI signals over ONE Multimode Fiber
• Maximum resolution WUXGA, 1920x1200, 60Hz or 1080p HDTV
• Use of standard DVI plug and SC or LC fiber connector
• Fiber Type: 50 or 62.5/125 SC Multi-mode
• Plug and Play, easy installation
• Small form factor - allowing for easy connection and placement
• Cables can be installed in conduit prior to extender installation

As part of Broadata's commitment to support professional HD video and sound, our engineering department has been working on new products to bring DVI, HDMI, VGA/RGB & 3G HD-SDI to the BCI HD Platform, and plan for a release in Q2-Q3 of 2008. The 4610 and 4800/4801 HD Series product features cutting edge technologies designed to expand its current product range and overcome the shortcomings of many currently available technologies. BCI's newest addition to it's IP product line is the 200i-NVR model. The 200i-NVR is an IP network video recorder/player that complements the BCI models 230i and 240i by providing video and audio recording capabilities and playback over a standard Ethernet IP network.

The 200i-NVR supports up to 64+ simultaneous video/audio channels utilizing MPEG 2/4 or MJPEG compression schemes and is capable of real time display and playback at up to 30 fps. Although easy to operate, the included GUI software provides sophisticated features such as scheduled recording, intelligent searches of recorded materials, a real-time A/V multi-events viewer and filter, and instant response PTZ operation with reaction presets and distance operation. A complete system and event log database is also maintained. During playback, video quality enhancement tools are also available.

Storage capabilities are available from 120 GB - 4 TB as well as support for optional RAID. Management functions are available through Ethernet or RS-232.

Applications include Broadcast TV monitoring, Corporate security, monitoring, or training, Distance Learning for Education and Digital signage and information management.
