For those of you not familiar with BCI s fiber optic link
products, the following 1-page Product Summary
Brochure will be very useful to you. This brochure
describes a general BCI product model (a fiber optic
link containing either a transmitter and a receiver, or
a transceiver pair for transporting a variety of
audio/video/data signals) with available signal
interfaces, fiber link functions, product packaging, as
well as application areas.

| BCI Introduces RF Over Optical Link Product Lines |

Recently, BCI has added a number of RF/Microwave
Signals over Fiber Optical Links. The following
provides a brief description of these products.
710 Series is an L-
Band/Broadband Fiber Optic Link, transmitting either
950MHz to 2.15GHz, or 48MHz to 2.7GHz
RF/Microwave signal. This product is perfect for
satellite TV/movie/DBS download or upload
applications between a headend center and remote
antenna site.
720 Series is specifically
designed as an optical repeater for wireless celluar
phone system applications. The product supports
operations for 800-960MHz CDMA/GSM, 1700-
2200MHz PCS/UMTS, or 800-2200MHz Broadband
wireless remote applications.
730 Series is a Fiber Optic
CATV Link transmitting 45MHz to 870MHz RF signal,
covering up to 110 CATV channels. This product
comes with either a directly modulated or externally-
modulated transmitter design, thus perfect for either
enterprise network or CATV operator network
applications.

BCI's 200E Series card cage
system provides a
universal 19", 3 RU high, rack mount solution for most
of BCI's card based product line. This enables
designers a space saving and cost effective method
for utilizing multiple BCI products in a dense
packaging configuration. The 200E Card Cage (MSRP
$300) comes with and without a power supply.
Other features of the 200E Series card cage include
an 18 slot universal chassis (200E-CC) (16 usable
slots with a single power supply) and a power supply
card (200E-CCP) that supplies 180 watts of total
system power to the BCI card based units. Each
200E-CCP power supply requires 2 slots in the 200E-
CC chassis for installation. Redundant power
applications can be satisfied by simply installing an
additional 200E-CCP into the 200E-CC card chassis.
The 200E card cage comes in three flavors. The
200E-CCF with fan and 200E-CCU with thermal sensor
fans and clock distribution for management on each
board, power supply temperature, current
consumption, and power supply voltage.

The model 4601E system is designed to
transmit high resolution RGB/Sync video over one
singlemode fiber with video bandwidth up to 160MHz
per color. Transmission of up to UXGA (1600x1200)
video resolution is supported. It is widely used in
digital signage applications.
The model 4601E supports most popular sync
formats, including sync on green, composite sync,
and external H + V sync. The model 4601E also
comes with audio, keyboard, and mouse AKM version.
It allows for transmission of standard mouse,
keyboard, and stereo audio for feature remote
multimedia presentations.
