BCI's New and Improved Multi-channel Analog Audio Series

6100E Series

The recently released, new and improved model 6100E, digital fiber optic multi- channel audio transport system provides simultaneous transmission of multiple channels of digitized audio over one or one pair of fiber. BCI's model 6100E comes with 4, 8 and 16 channel versions and transmits these audio channels in one direction. It is one of the most cost effective and high performance audio transmission systems in the market.

The model 6100E features a digital fiber optic transmission technology, capable of providing crisp audio, little or no maintenance, high functional reliability, and low operating costs.

1200E Series

The 1200E transports 4- or 8- channels of AES audio over a single fiber using time division multiplexing technique. Each channel operates independently from the other and features muting circuitry to provide a "pop free" output during switching of input source. The 1200E can operate stand-alone or integrated with other BCI modules in a card cage.

The 1200E has the following features:

  • AES3 and S/PDIF compatible
  • 4 or 8 balanced or single-ended channels over a single fiber
  • Auto-detection of AES audio sample rate
  • Each channel operates independently of the others
  • "Pop free" outputs during input channel switching
  • Interface to BCIView Network Management System
  • Supports single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables

The 1200E represents a key technological breakthrough and it solves all the previous concerns in the "old" AES multiplexer, including "pop" sound during switching and the requirement of synchronized AES inputs.
