All of you, who attended the NAB Show 2006, probably already knew
that Broadata had one of the busiest shows in the company’s
history. And, we received the highest number of quality leads ever.
At this year’s NAB show, BCI launched it’s Video Over IP
product lines: model 230i,
audio video over IP network transmission system, model 237i,
video over IP gateway systems with forward error correction (FEC), and
model 1000i,
SDI video over IP system. These 3 models were well received at the show
and inquiries for further information on these models are high. One of
the international visitors requested to purchase our 230i demo units
after the show ended.
While our “i” version product line generated a lot of
interest at the show, our newly released fiber optical products, model
1600, multi-channel fiber optic SDI transport system and model 1700,
fiber optic digital video/audio transport system were also well
received. These high performance and cost effective solutions were
designed for high end digital video (SDI) and audio (AES/EBU)
transmission.
Many of BCI's international and domestic distributors and
representatives visited our booth and some stayed to help us during
this busy show. Dr. Freddie Lin, CEO of Broadata Communications, Inc.
attended the show, and said, "BCI will continue to focus on fiber
optical product lines, but also, use our strong engineering resources
to expand our market to the IP arena."

BCI will feature the 230i/520i model in the 2006 InfoComm
(Information Communications Marketplace) Trade Show, at the Orange
County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, on June 7-9, 2006, in Booth
#423. BCI’s 230i/520i units are capable of transmitting
one channel, baseband, NTSC/PAL video, one stereo audio pair (2 audio
channels) and multiple RS-232 or RS-422 data channels over IP/Ethernet
networks. Through MPEG compression, the BCI product encodes the video,
audio and data into 10/100 Ethernet packets and transports them over a
common Ethernet/IP network where it is decoded back into its native
format. Image, audio and data qualities are maintained at professional
levels throughout the transmission process. No sophisticated user
adjustments are necessary in configuring the product, enabling quick
setup, trouble free operation and low operating costs.
