Broadata Communications, Inc. Achieves RoHS Compliance for it’s 4800 series DVI over Fiber Transmission Products!

 



Torrance, CA—Sept. 15 —Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI), a world leader in the development of cutting edge optical communications and optoelectronic technologies, has announced the RoHS compliance of the 4800 series product for the transport of DVI video over fiber optic cable.

BCI is proud that the 4800 series product is compliant with the 2003 directive from the Eurpoean Parliament and the Council of the European Union to eliminate hazardous materials in electronic products. The 4800 series’ compliance means that the 4800 series products are free from lead (pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr 6), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated dephenyl ethers (PBDE).
