The 1000i system provides real time transmission of  SMPTE-259M or SMPTE-305M SDI video over IP/Ethernet network. The 1000i system transmits one (1) SDI video channel in one direction through one Gigabit Ethernet port. The 1000i system is perfect to transmit SDI video anywhere within your IP/Ethernet network for real time broadcast video distribution applications.

The 1000i features a full SD-SDI data integrity, transmitting SDI embedded audio and ancillary data. It handles a wide range of data rate, thus accommodating SD-SDI, SD-SDTI, and DVB-ASI formats. In addition, one can multicast SDI to multiple locations.  No sophisticated user adjustment is required in the 1000i system, enabling quick setup and trouble-free operation. The video quality in the 1000i systems meets professional multimedia or broadcast standards.

The 1000i comes with two packaging options: a standalone, compact, ruggedized packaging and a plug-in card packaging for a card cage system. Panel connectors are provided for SDI video (BNC) and 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection (RJ-45 twisted pair, or SC multimode/singlemode fiber port).
