The 6540E Series is a high performance Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) System that multiplexes and demultiplexes multiple full-duplex digital optical data channels on one pair of multimode or singlemode fibers. The 6540E operates independently of protocol and data rate, and are designed to work with uncooled lasers having wavelengths spaced 20 nm apart when deployed in CWDM networks. The 6540E provides a perfect solution of performance, price, and scalability for wavelength multiplexing and demultiplexing.
The standard CWDM channel number is either 4, 8, or 16. Versions with expandable or 1310 nm channels are available.
