Users can log in the BCIView at any place and at any time to monitor, configure, and/or manage fiber optic audio/video/data transmission chassises with a variety of I/O cards, such as short-haul analog video and audio, digital SDI/HDTV video, professional AES/EBU audio, Ethernet, RS232/422, and many others.
The BCIView consists of a SNMP Management Card (SMC) with an embedded web browser based network monitoring system software. Multiple chassises can be also supported through Chassis Management Card (CMC) using one single IP address. The BCIView is fully compliant to SNMP and HTTP standards with easy integration to other high-level management software.
In addition to typical network monitoring and configuration, the BCIView can generate SNMP alarms for important events such as system power-on, system loss of power, link restoration, and link failure. It also allows secure password protected access to device status and configuration from any browser, anywhere, at any time. It enables centralized trouble shooting and diagnosis of local and remote units from a single workstation increasing organizational efficiency. In addition, the BCIView implements battery backup to continue to report status for 30 minutes after power failure. For complete specifications, see PDF.
